Bedroom Series - Part III

So, I'm back with a Part III for my Bedroom Series and I wanted to focus on the decorative side of my bedroom this time. You can check out the other parts of the series here, and here. The main focus of this post will be on the two candles* from Airwick and a few extra prints that I ordered from Chanelle (I know, I am obsessed!).

I love how candles make my room smell great and give my bedroom an awesome ambience as well. I received these candles the other day and had to use them immediately! I firstly lit the Silhouttes Decorative Candle - I got the Amber Mandarin Glow scent and it smells amazing! The jar has a scenic silhouette on the outside of the jar and when lit, the base of the candle lights up and changes colour - I'm not sure if it's meant to project the silhouette against it surrounds or not but either way it's pretty cool.

The other candle that I received was the Scented Candle in Lemonade Stand - this scent is also amazing! The jar has a lid so you can store it safely when not using it, which is an awesome feature. The scent is really strong but not over powering which is something that I really like for when using candles, especially when they are being used in my bedroom. Both candles tie in well with the theme of my room with their earthy scents and chill vibes - I will probably end up buying some to put around the rest of the house, not just my room.

Lastly, I want to mention the new print I ordered from Chanelle that arrived the other day as well. It's been an exciting week for mail!! A few weeks back now, Chanelle had posted that she had released limited prints and I had to get one for my room. So, I ordered the limited Totoro print - which is definitely my favourite so far! It has a beautiful mandala print in the middle of it as well which kind of matches all my other prints and my tapestry. My struggle now is finding a frame for all my prints so I can display them properly. I also received an extra print with my order that's just a small flash sheet, I guess you would call it?

Let me know what other candles I can get to put around the house - it needs them!
Also, suggestions on what kind of frame would be good for the prints.

L'Oreal Nude Magique Foundation

Yay for consistent blog posts! Hopefully you all had a lovely Easter with your friends and family. I really wanted to make a post about this product and thought it would be necessary to write up a review to start of the week! Obviously I am going to review the foundation that I mentioned in this post.

Let's put the spotlight on the L'Oreal Nude Magique Eau De Teint foundation. Not gonna lie, the packaging is so cute! I love the frosted glass - but like I previously mentioned it doesn't have a pump, which is a massive downfall for me as the foundation is very runny and watery so I suppose a pump wouldn't be very efficient for this product.  The product also has a very strong alcohol smell - I have no idea why but when I first applied I really noticed the smell and it just wasn't very nice at all.

When I first tried the product I used a flat foundation kabuki type brush but it didn't really distribute the foundation very well so, after numerous attempts, I switched to the K-mart beauty blender alternative. Using a damp sponge with this product actually works wonders!! I was amazed! Perfect distribution and the coverage is reasonable good too. Excuse the bare face but the photos kind of show the comparison with the amount of coverage - I definitely try to opt for two layers as it covers most discolouration, redness and blemishes.

The only other thing I want to mention about this product is that it does leave a very dewy finish - which I don't like as I have terribly oily skin especially in my T-zone which I like to avoid. To finish it off I apply a matter finishing powder, but that is up to you whether you like the dewy look or not.

Let me know if you have tried this product and what you think of it (:
