Favourite Makeup Brushes

I am an avid believer that having the right tools for your makeup will create a more flawless finish - however, I tend to own way too many makeup brushes. I definitely collect brushes as a hobby but these are a few of my favourites at the moment!

 Base

Jessup buffing brush - I mainly use this brush with Nars Sheer Glow

Real Techniques Flat Foundation Brush - Other Foundations

Sponge - Used for when I want a more natural application

Eyes

Jessup Eye Brushes; Blending, Small Tapered Blending,
Tapered Blending and Small Eyeliner

Finish

Jessup Brushes; Tapered Face, Powder/Blush and Large Fluff

I really recommend the Jessup brushes for beginner makeup enthusiasts as they are reasonably cheap and such a great quality. You could easily build a full brush kit for less that $50. They have both synthetic and natural hair brushes which is great for powder products and liquid products as well. They also come in a silver handle as well - if you just search for them on eBay they are one of the first links that appear.

This definitely wasn't a sponsored post in any way at all. I'm someone who is always looking for cheaper alternatives and when I heard about these brushes I had to order some. I have been using them for 12 months now and none of them have shed a single hair - even after washing them!
